Ernesto Nardone: Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer
Ernesto Nardone serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer of N2N Global.
Having joined the company in 2009, Mr. Nardone’s leadership has helped N2N Global strengthen its position as a world leader of enterprise software solutions for the entire perishables and food supply chain.
Prior to joining N2N Global, Mr. Nardone had a 22 year career at the IBM Corporation. As a Corporate Development Executive for IBM, Mr. Nardone was responsible for the strategic expansions of the company. This included facilitating non-organic activities with all investment banking relationships on behalf of IBM. He was the key executive responsible for the corporate process of growth through acquisitions and partnerships as well as identifying emerging business opportunities. Prior to this role, Mr. Nardone worked in green field business expansions for IBM in emerging countries such as Ireland, Singapore, and China. Mr. Nardone’s depth and breadth of experience in Software Development Lifecycle (“SDLC”), Product Lifecycle Management (“PLM”), and executive management on a global basis bring important insights to both clients and company operations.
Mr. Nardone received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from McGill University. He continued his education with a Certificate in Management from McGill University. Mr. Nardone is fluent in three languages, French, Italian, and English and is a frequent global traveler.
Angela Nardone: (CINO) Chairman and Chief Innovation Officer
Angela Nardone joined N2N Global in 2008 and has held her current position of Chairman since 2009 and Chief Innovation Officer (CINO) since 2012. As Chairman, Mrs. Nardone’s primary objective is the growth and expansion of the company through organic and non-organic efforts. As the CINO, Mrs. Nardone focuses on organic activities through product development. Her responsibilities include problem definition, market research, product concept, product development, product test, concept engineering, product launch, and ongoing product improvement and enhancement. Mrs. Nardone works extremely close with clients in a field application engineer capacity to identify opportunities for business solutions. She is extremely passionate about the topics of Supply Chain Management, Food Safety, Quality Assurance, and Traceability within the integrated food supply chain.
Mrs. Nardone began her career in investment banking as an analyst in the Business Services and Technology sectors. She engaged in market analyses, go to market (GTM) strategies, and business plan evaluation and development. As she grew within the industry, her projects expanded to include capital fundraising, mergers, acquisitions, & divestitures, circuit financing, along with joint ventures, licensing agreements, and partner & channel development.
Today Mrs. Nardone sits on the Board of Directors for the United Fresh Produce Association, is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (“IEEE”), a member of the Institute of Food Technologist (“IFT”), is a member of the Technology Working Group for the Produce Traceability Initiative, and many other board and organizations and also is a supporter of the American Heart Association and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In addition, she often speaks at industry conferences and is engaged to create white papers concerning the topics of food safety and traceability.
Ronald Folwell, CPA: Chief Financial Officer
Ron Folwell serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for N2N Global and brings 40 years of accounting and finance experience to the executive team. He is responsible for all aspects of financial functions including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, and treasury. This includes international planning and governance supporting global operations for N2N Global. Mr. Folwell also serves as the Chief Administrative Officer responsible for Human Resources and Risk Management.
Mr. Folwell began his career at KPMG as a CPA and spent 18 years with the firm rising to Audit Partner specializing in SEC reporting and mergers and acquisitions. His roles in public accounting included SEC reviewing partner, computer audit specialist, and statistical audit specialist. Following his time with KPMG, he left public accounting to join private industry and spent nearly 10 years as CFO for companies in the retail sector and wholesale distribution. He later joined DiMare as CFO for 12 years and was responsible for all aspects of financial accounting, cash management, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Folwell earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and maintains his CPA license.
Craig Stephen: Chief Strategy Officer
Craig Stephen serves as N2N Global’s Chief Strategy Officer and Board Member, bringing 30 years of experience in developing growth and profitability strategies for global businesses. Prior to joining N2N, Mr. Stephen spent 22 years at Chiquita Brands International, Inc. While at Chiquita, Mr. Stephen led several business units, including serving as President & COO of Chiquita’s Far East/Austral Asia business unit and Vice President & GM of the North American fresh fruit business. Mr. Stephen brings hands-on, practical experiences to both client and company growth strategies.
Prior to joining Chiquita, Mr. Stephen worked at Ernst & Young, advising clients on public filings, M&A activities, audit matters, and served on the firm’s litigation support team. Mr. Stephen graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.S.B.A. and earned his CPA certificate shortly thereafter. Today, Mr. Stephen is a member of the Board of Directors of the Produce Marketing Association and a member of its Global Development Council.
Chris Huckle: General Manager Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
Chris Huckle is an Executive Leader bringing to N2N Global over 20 years of experience in technology & consulting. Formerly an Executive with the consulting divisions of both PwC and IBM, his understanding of all service lines spans large systems, big data, and service offerings. Following his successful tenure at IBM, Mr. Huckle successfully performed General Manager roles for organizations of up to $250M, such as Vice President UK and Global Leadership Team Member at IMS Health – the data company – delivering significant growth on each assignment.
With a historic focus on the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Pharmaceuticals (Pharma) sectors, clients have included Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, Diageo, and Pfizer. Chris has worked with clients and teams in every major geography, successfully leading practices, service lines, and projects on a local and international level. He has operated at Board and Functional leadership levels within large organizations with deep understanding. His track record includes personal targets of up to $180M.
Chris maintains an MBA in Business Strategy and is called upon as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field. His strengths include returning lagging companies to growth, bringing a deep, practical understanding of how to drive growth.
Patrick Medley: General Manager – Asia Pacific
Patrick serves as the General Manager for Asia Pacific. He brings over 25 years of consulting experience to N2N Global, having worked for Coopers & Lybrand, PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM, based in London, Singapore and Sydney, and more recently having set up his own consulting firm Kedleton & Co. His focus has always been in the Consumer industries, and he has variously led the Consumer and Industrial Products team across Asia Pacific for PwC, been the Consumer Products Global Industry Leader for IBM Global Business Services for three years, and led the Consumer Products and Retail industry teams for IBM across the Growth Markets. He is a strategist and marketing consultant by background, but with a deep understanding of how technology is changing business and consumer relationships.
Patrick has a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Commerce (Double Honours) from the University of Birmingham, England and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sydney, Australia. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Chris Cave Jones: General Manager – South-East Asia
Chris serves as N2N Global’s General Manager for south-east Asia based out of Singapore. Chris started his career in Unilever’s edible oils refining and margarine business in the UK as a production manager before moving into management consulting. During his 25 year consulting career with Coopers & Lybrand in the UK, PricewaterhouseCoopers in Thailand and Singapore and IBM in Singapore, Chris consulted mainly to the consumer goods industry in the areas of supply chain management, multi-channel selling and distribution as well as food traceability. He lead IBM’s global Centre of Competence for the Consumer Products industry and was a member of IBM’s prestigious Industry Academy.
Chris has written several books and papers on retailer-supplier collaboration and served on a number of national and regional Efficient Consumer Response (ECR) boards across Asia, as well as supporting the Consumer Goods Forum.
Chris has Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College London and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Warwick Business School. He is a Chartered Engineer.
Cathy Elliott: Senior Vice President
Cathy Elliott serves as the Senior Vice President of Client Services for N2N Global and brings more than 24 years of experience working in the agricultural and software technology industries.
Mrs. Elliott is responsible for Client Services in the Enterprise Application Division. She oversees customer service, implementations and business process consulting. In her tenure with N2N Global, she has been involved with almost 100 client implementations. She also serves as Principal with N2N Global Services.
Mrs. Elliott holds a Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems with a minor in Accounting from Appalachian State University in North Carolina.
Jay Ennesser: Vice President Sales, Americas
Jay Ennesser serves as Vice President Sales, Americas and brings with him over 25 years of impressive full life cycle sales experience working for IBM.
In his last position at IBM he was the Vice President, Enterprise – Southwest Business Unit managing Team Paradise Sales. This was a new segment integrating Team IBM around the local marketplace with a focus on new client acquisition. IBM West IMT client coverage model designed to improve the client experience and accelerate growth, increase client face time and enable a better employee experience through reduced travel for sellers.
Prior to his last assignment, Mr. Ennesser was the Vice President, Smarter City Partnerships, with responsibility to develop new business relationships and business models specific to IBM’s smarter city mission. His team had focused on finding new ways to improve clients’ time to value leveraging the entire IBM partner ecosystem.
Mr. Ennesser also served as Vice President, Smarter and Innovation Alliances, Global Alliance Solutions, with overall responsibility for eight of IBM’s top sixteen worldwide Innovation, Cloud and Smarter partnerships. His alliances were focused on the growth of IBM’s smarter offerings in the area of healthcare, buildings, transportation and cities. In addition, Jay was a member of IBM’s Green Sigma Coalition Executive team, which worked in partnership with ten industry leading companies focused on the acceleration of standards, policies and value to accelerate market growth through new innovative offerings.
Mr. Ennesser’s alliance teams were responsible to ensure the mutual success required for IBM, its partners and joint clients. To accomplish this mission, his team provided business development, marketing and sales support to each of the eight global alliances.
Mr. Ennesser also held positions as the Vice President for the i2 Software Alliance and the Vice President of Sales, IBM’s e-marketplace solutions and supply chain management solutions.
As the Director for Electronics Industry Solutions, he was responsible for the development and deployment of worldwide solutions. His solution areas of focus included product life cycle management, supply chain management, SCADA and ECAD offerings. In addition, he has held a series of IT development positions inside IBM’s semiconductor manufacturing locations.
Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Hofstra University, Hemstead, New York. He is on the board of directors for the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals and the Arizona BioIndustry Association.
Chris Hagemann: Vice President of Corporate Development and CFO, N2N Global Services
Chris Hagemann serves as Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer of N2N Global Services (NGS), a division of N2N Global. Ms. Hagemann is responsible for developing strategic, international and long-term business relationships, along with overseeing non-organic acquisition activity. As the CFO of N2N Global Services, she is responsible for overseeing the financial well-being of the bus Services division.
Ms. Hagemann comes to N2N Global with more than 20 years of multinational experience in consumer products, manufacturing, services, entertainment, software and retail. Prior to joining N2N Global, Ms. Hagemann served for two and a half years as the Director of Finance at Sunkist Growers, Inc., a $1 billion marketing cooperative. During this time, she was responsible for managing corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis, and payroll activities. Additionally, she was instrumental in supporting strategic initiatives of the company, including an ERP implementation, business process redesign, and joint venture activity. Prior to her time at Sunkist, she served as the Vice President of Finance for William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, a preeminent talent agency, and as an audit manager for Deloitte & Touche, a Big Four accounting and auditing firm. Throughout her career, Ms. Hagemann has facilitated profit enhancement and business improvement through achievements in system analysis and process design, internal controls, purchasing management, benchmarking, transaction support and multidisciplinary project leadership.
Ms. Hagemann graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.S. in Accounting. She is also a CPA (inactive).
Nazie Johannsen, PMP: Managing Director, N2N Global Services
Nazie Johannsen serves as Managing Director of N2N Global Services (NGS), a division of N2N Global. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in most aspects of information technology, strategy development and business management, Mrs. Johannsen is responsible for the growth and development of NGS, specializing in technology-based business solutions for small and mid-sized companies.
Prior to joining N2N Global, Mrs. Johannsen held the position of IT Director at Sunkist Growers, Inc., a leading international supplier of fresh fruit. In her role at Sunkist, she was responsible for the establishment of information systems strategy, architecture, standards and practices, and support of strategic and day-to-day operations. Mrs. Johannsen developed strategic roadmaps for enterprise applications and infrastructure, including ERP & BI software selection and implementation, establishing an Integration Competency Center, and modernizing Sunkist infrastructure and network/terminal equipment solutions for member packing houses. Previous to Sunkist, Mrs. Johannsen spent 14 years delivering technology solutions for Dole Food Company, the world’s largest producer and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables. Her experience includes project management, business process optimization, enterprise application and integration management, applications and network infrastructure and business process analysis and re-engineering. Mrs. Johannsen has managed the successful implementation of multiple ERP packages, as well as systems and processes for compliance with FDA bioterrorism traceability regulations.
Mrs. Johannsen holds an MBA, from California Lutheran University and Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Lutheran University and the Harvard Business School Executive Education Delivering Information Services program. She is certified as a Project Management Professional, is APICS certified in Production and Inventory Management and ITIL v3 certified in IT Service Management.
Judy Kiley: Executive Director, Quality Assurance – Software Development
Judy Kiley serves as Executive Director of Quality Assurance – Software Development for N2N Global. Mrs. Kiley has been with N2N Global since 1985 and has risen through the ranks starting from a junior programmer. Today she is involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle (“SDLC”) from the initial business analysis to design and coding to test and implementation of the final solution.
Through Mrs. Kiley’s leadership, N2N Global offers a “Best of Breed” ERP solution entitled KiSS which totals more than 7 million lines of code (LOC) and integrates both vertically and horizontally across the food supply chain. With more than 30 years of history and experience in software development and the food industry, Mrs. Kiley brings depth and breadth to the N2N Global team.
Mrs. Kiley earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Orlando College with Summa cum laude honors. She currently serves on the board of directors for Grand Avenue Economic Community Development Corp, a local non-profit organization in Orlando that provides permanent housing to the homeless. She is also an avid Red Sox fan.
Harold Ewell: Vice President, Quality Assurance & Food Safety
Harold Ewell serves as the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Food Safety bringing to his role over 30 years of subject matter expertise. Mr. Ewell is responsible for enhancing N2N Global’s software solution suite and helping our global customers enhance and improve their internal Quality Assurance and Food Safety initiatives worldwide.
Prior to joining N2N Global in 2012, Mr. Ewell spent 24 years at H.J. Heinz, a Fortune 500 enterprise food company. While at H.J. Heinz, Mr. Ewell managed a vast global supply chain of over 3000 suppliers for Food Safety and Quality Assurance compliance. This included the creation of the “best practices” guidelines for supplier management in the areas of environmental micro-control specific to Salmonella and Listeria, Good Agricultural Practices, Packaging, audit management, and material non-compliance management. His overall management of programs allowed Heinz to be best in class for the Food Safety System Certification or “FSSC 22000″ and compliant for the Food Safety Modernization Act or “FSMA” requirements. Mr. Ewell had several roles during his tenure with the H.J. Heinz Company including Manager of Food Safety, Manager of Co Pack Quality, Senior Manager of Supply Chain Management, and Manager of Quality Assurance.
Prior to joining H. J. Heinz, Mr. Ewell worked at Ralston Purina International for 6 years where he managed a microbiological testing laboratory and waste treatment experimental stations with both production and process engineering responsibilities.
Mr. Ewell is a graduate of The Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Microbiology and a Master of Science (“M.S.”) in Food Science. He has spoken on Food Safety and Supply Chain Quality Management (“SCQM”) at many different forums, including the American Spice Trade Association and the Food Safety Summit. He is a member of the International Association of Food Protection (“IAFP”) and a member of several Professional Development Groups within IAFP.
